Authority Magazine Features Neveo Mosser as a Leader in the Affordable Housing Crisis

July 20, 2021

Neveo Mosser, Mosser Companies’ CEO, was featured in Authority Magazine as a leader in the real estate industry working toward making housing more affordable. In the interview he discusses the affordable housing crisis in the nation today and the push and pull between housing providers, policymakers, and cities. He reflects on how the housing crisis in America came to be, where it stands today, and what needs to be done by real estate companies and government officials together to help solve the crisis.

“Commitment and tenacity pay off. As a person of color, I have learned that to get ahead, you need to be able to bring tenacity and perseverance in the face of obstacles to the table and demonstrate unwavering commitment to your work. These traits are what have helped propel my career and driven me to always do better.”

Also in the interview, Neveo shares how he grew up in the real estate industry, why his father has always been his best role model and what he wishes he had known before starting his career—and his experiences as an African-American leader in an industry that lacks diversity.

While Neveo joined the company as a janitor, learning the ropes from his father who founded Mosser Companies over 65 years ago—he has certainly come a long way and is trusted and respected as Mosser’s CEO. We are thrilled to see him recognized for his expertise and leadership in addressing one of the nation’s largest housing crises head on.
